Cofounding the firm with Steve in 2006, Dan oversees operations from the Walnut Creek office. His career path has been dedicated to residential development to which he made strong headway in after the Great Recession with the acquisition for multiple distressed residential development projects in Northern and Southern California. Before his venture to McKinley, Dan was a partner at Mission Valley Properties. Prior to this he founded a real estate consulting company which offered services from securing debt and financing to assisting regional homebuilders. Preceding this, Dan was the VP of Finance and Land Acquisition for Southwest Diversifies/Coscan (now known as Brookfield Homes). And before this, Dan held the position of VP at the Citicorp Real Estate Group or California’s division for Citibank.
Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fresno State University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance/Urban Land Economics from the University of California Los Angeles. He was previously on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association in the North Bay.
