Eric joined McKinley Partners in early 2018 as the Director of Land Development in Northern California. He is responsible for directing the construction of site improvements to deliver up to 1,200 finished residential lots in the One Lake masterplan in Fairfield, California. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the building industry managing projects through the full development cycle – inception through completion. Before joining McKinley, Eric worked in the homebuilding industry, initially with Legacy Partners, then with Shea Homes, O’Brien Homes, and D.R. Horton. Before this, he was a Project Planner at the San Jose Redevelopment Agency, following his early career as a Development Consultant.
Eric obtained a degree from U.C. Berkeley in Political Science with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning Policy. His accomplishments include initiating urban renewal efforts in Jack London Square, converting a landfill to an award-winning single-family community, repurposing property to develop higher density housing, and managing numerous residential projects throughout the Bay Area, accounting for thousands of new homes. Eric lives in San Jose with his wife of over 20 years, and enjoys skiing, swimming, mountain biking, and music.
