Spearheading the souring, underwriting, and acquisitions in Southern California, Jeff has been at McKinley Partners since 2007. A critical player in our fund development, Jeff has created and maintained strong investor ties with partners throughout the US and internationally. Prior to McKinley, he founded Granite Homes in 1996, a land development and homebuilding company. Following this, Jeff was the VP of Operations at SeaCountry Homes, leading over 600 entitlement projects to which he brought to market within three years. Before his ventures into Real Estate, Jeff worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in D.C. where he was involved in the contracting and defense of military policy, strategy, operations, and technology.
Earning a BA in International Relations from the University of California Los Angeles, Jeff continued his education with a Masters in National Security Studies from Georgetown University. Jeff bridged the gap between Nor Cal and So Cal when he joined McKinley Partners and brough investments to Southern California. The sunny environment is not only excellent for real estate growth but fulfills many of Jeff’s personal hobbies like surfing, fly fishing, and kayaking. Jeff and his wife now live with their two daughters in one of the previous communities Jeff built in North County San Diego.
