Before this, he was the VP of Land Acquisition and Development at Catellus Development Corporation. Initiating his career path in the residential sector, Steve’s early experience includes acquisition and development at SummerHill Homes, VP of Southwest Diversified/Coscan (now known as Brookland Homes), and Project Controller/Land Acquisition Manager for the Vintage Club.
Graduating from Brigham Young University in 1981, Steve obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management where he focused on finance, accounting, and financial planning. Following this, he received a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate and Accounting at John F. Kennedy University, bringing him to Nor Cal. Steve was recently a member of the Board of Directors of Seneca Center, a non-profit for children and families in the Bay Area. He often spends his free time on the golf course or kiteboarding.
