Preferred Equity Investment
As part of a joint venture by Root Real Estate and Ketter Development, McKinley invested with Root Ketter in their development of 92 rental units in San Pedro. In conjunction with 2111 Pacific, the project is suppling highly needed new housing in the older port city. With construction ongoing for the redevelopment of San Pedro’s waterfront, this new attraction will make the city another destination in the county, to which new housing units will be highly demanded. Upon approval of the waterfront development, McKinley saw an untouched opportunity to enhance a community with the potential to become the next harbor destination along the California coast.
